European Union regulators warned that frequent Covid-19 booster shots could adversely affect the immune response and may not be feasible. Austrian lawmakers on Thursday voted 137-33 in favor of a COVID-19 mandate that requires all residents 18 and older to be vaccinated. Greece is to make Covid vaccinations mandatory for people aged 60 and over. Fines of â‚Ź100 (Ł85) will be imposed at monthly intervals from mid-January on those who refuse, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said. The money will go towards the Greek health system, which is struggling with a surge in hospital admissions.
